Church works trespassing forest had its fence wires dismantled (Athens, 20/2/2008)

From (greek only) athens.indymedia.org:

The local church plans on expanding by raising a new building inside a forest in Kaisariani, despite the protests of local residents, that have been blocked by police forces in past plant-a-tree actions. The church even had barbed wire fences to prevent anyone from entering the forest area where they planned to have their new building. Turns out some people dismantled the wire fencing. A local residents initiative also calls on an afforestation action for the forthcoming Sunday.
